Before you choose

Until you pick an option in the cookie banner, the only cookies set are the essential ones below, plus those set by the embedded video player described further down. Analytics does not run until you accept it, and if you decline, it never runs at all. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, analytics is treated as declined automatically.

Analytics cookies

Set only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. They help us understand how visitors use the site.

Session recording (Yandex Metrica Webvisor)

Our analytics includes a session-recording feature. Once you have accepted analytics, it records how you move through a page: mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks. We use it to find where pages confuse people — for example, where visitors stop before reaching a form.

It does not record what you type. Recording of form field contents is switched off at the counter level, so what you enter into the Express Audit form — your name, email, company — is not captured in these recordings. What you submit is delivered to our enquiry inbox inside Tilda, the platform this site runs on, and is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Yandex Metrica is operated by Yandex, and data collected through it is processed on Yandex's infrastructure under a data processing agreement. If you would rather not be included, choose “Reject All” in the cookie banner, use the “Cookie Preferences” link in our footer to change an earlier choice, or enable Global Privacy Control in your browser.

How Google Analytics is configured

Google Analytics runs only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. Until then it is held in a consent-denied state and sets no cookies. We have also configured it to collect less than it would by default:

• Advertising features are switched off. Google Signals, ads personalization and user-provided data collection are all disabled, so nothing collected here feeds Google advertising audiences.
• Email addresses and a defined list of URL parameters — including name, phone and address fields — are stripped out before data leaves your browser for Google.
• Precise location and device data is switched off for the United Kingdom, Switzerland and every country in the European Economic Area.
• Data tied to identifiers is retained for two months, the shortest period Google Analytics allows, rather than the default fourteen.

Embedded media cookies

One page — /restaurants — embeds a YouTube video player. YouTube sets its own cookies when that page loads, independently of our cookie banner.

Loading the YouTube player also contacts Google's advertising infrastructure (googleads.g.doubleclick.net, static.doubleclick.net) as part of how YouTube itself operates — this happens whenever a YouTube video is embedded on any website, not something we configure separately.

Not currently in use

For clarity: Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, Google Ads remarketing tags, and third-party email marketing platforms are not currently installed on this site, regardless of what may be mentioned elsewhere as planned tooling. This page reflects what is actually running today.
